Magnolia

The flower of every old southern garden: lemony, creamy and enormous, captured fresh from trees near the city.

The open flowers, captured by headspace
Harvest
Flowers in May

What it smells like

  • Lemon and cream
  • Tea and honey
  • A fresh green edge
A huge creamy southern magnolia blossom on a branch with glossy leaves against a blush sky.

Magnolia flowers can’t be distilled without losing what makes them beautiful, so we capture their scent in the air around the open blossom, then rebuild it in the atelier.

Our magnolia comes from old trees in gardens near the city, sampled in May when the flowers open at dusk. It is the heart of Magnolia Noir.
