Iris Hour is the fragrance Claire made for the boutique’s twentieth year, and the one most people leave with.

Its heart is orris butter, the costliest material in our atelier: iris roots dried for three years until they smell of violets, powder and soft suede. We pair it with violet leaf and a whisper of pink pepper, and let it settle on cashmere wood and musk.

Barely. Iris is powdery and a little earthy, with a soft vanilla trace from the tonka in the base.
